Hi, I'm Alyssa!
___

Thank you for being here. If you've made it to this page you're probably considering working with me in your wellness journey, and I'm honored to be a part of that.

My love for nutrition grew when I was postpartum with our first baby, Wyatt. I was a stay and home mom and had just gone through a traumatic birth experience involving a NICU stay and preterm labor. I was searching for ways to help me feel better in this new, foreign body.

I graduated with my Bachelor's of Science in Nutrition from Texas Woman's University in 2016 and walked the stage at graduation with our 3-month-old baby in the audience.

I realized the road to healing, happiness, and wellness isn't linear. It's a road with ups and downs, and it's a LOT easier when you have people supporting you along the way both with kind words and knowledge of how we're intricately designed as women. We are not just small men.

I graduated with my Master's of Science in Clinical Nutrition from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2022, and am a candidate to earn the credential of Clinical Nutrition Specialist (CNS).

As a mother to three, I know feeding everyone can seem like a big mountain when the invisible weight of motherhood can feel so heavy sometimes. So I'm here to strategize, listen, help you unlearn food rules or beliefs that could be holding you back from truly loving food again. We can enjoy our meals, even when there's baths to give and books to read, and sticky little hands to wash.

I look forward to hearing your story and playing a part in your path to healing.

Nutritional therapy may be for you if:

You're tired of diet after diet and the never-ending loop of information from "experts".

You've tried cutting carbs, dairy, sugar, but none of that helped long term and you're still feeling unwell in your body.

You're sick of the cycle of restricting then obsessing over food you "can't have".

Symptoms like bloating, gas, headaches, breakouts, painful periods, and skin issues are feeling like too much to handle and you can't remember the last time to you lived without these.

You have a gut feeling your hormones are just...off. Maybe your brain feels foggy even after the newborn phase, your sugar cravings are spiraling, and you just want to have energy to make it through the day.

You want to heal your relationship with food, learn to enjoy it again, and honor your body.
